The DI Technical Showcase series strengthens and broadens science and technology collaborations among industry, academia, and the Department of Defense (DoD) through a topic-focused interchange event. Join the DI ecosystem to stay informed of upcoming DI Technical Showcase events.

Industry-to-Government Presentation

Each event will feature a different research area within the Air Force Research Lab Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW). All businesses and academic institutions – regardless of size, age, past performance, or location – are invited to submit an application highlighting their technical capabilities in that field. A panel of technical experts from AFRL/RW will then select 3-5 submissions to deliver a 30-minute presentation to government stakeholders. We invite you to view the “Tips for Showcasing your Technology” video while preparing your submission.

In order to protect participants’ intellectual property, the industry-to-government presentations will be closed to the public and will only be attended by government personnel.

Applicants whose submissions are not selected by the review panel are welcome to contact the Doolittle Institute at techtransfer@doolittleinstitute.org to discuss next steps and alternate ways of engaging with AFRL/RW.

Government-to-Industry Presentation

In addition to the industry technical showcase, each month a researcher from AFRL/RW (or guest DoD collaborator) will deliver a 30-minute, virtual presentation about the projects they are working on and the technical capabilities they are seeking. This presentation provides industry and academia with valuable insight into the research priorities and technical capabilities of interest to the lab.

The Government-to-Industry presentations are open to the public and include a Q&A session where attendees can engage with the technical point of contact.
