AFRL/RW University Day 2025 Event Wrapper
Overview
Doolittle Institute (DI), on behalf of the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW), is seeking proposals from U.S. universities for a targeted funding opportunity that aims to establish new academic research partnerships. This call is specifically focused on universities not currently working with AFRL/RW through an existing contract or grant; however, AFRL/RW will consider all U.S. universities’ proposals.
AFRL/RW intends to award 5–6 grants, each ranging from $75K–$100K, focused on two research areas. Only offerors in the highly selectable or selectable categories will be invited to pitch their proposals during the virtual pitch day on 23 June 2025.

- RA 17: Weapon Autonomy and Control Technology Research Research title: Computationally Efficient, Intelligent Guidance and Control Algorithms
