FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge Volunteer Opportunity

2026–2027 Season

Doolittle Institute is seeking community volunteers to support local FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge events during the 2026–2027 season.

FIRST® is the world’s leading youth robotics community, delivering hands-on STEM learning that inspires innovation, builds confidence, and prepares kids for life. In welcoming, team-based robotics programs, participants work collaboratively to solve an annual, themed robotics challenge. For the 2026–2027 season, FIRST® CANOPY™ focuses on biodiversity.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are needed for a variety of technical and non-technical roles, including referees, judges, queuers, scorekeepers, robot competition support, event operations, team coordination, and general event assistance. No prior FIRST experience is required for many positions, and training will be provided.

Have a Saturday or two free? Come be part of the exciting robot action and help students explore biodiversity through robotics!

Community members interested in supporting STEM education.

When

Friday afternoons for event setup and Saturdays for competition events throughout the season.

Where

Local Northwest Florida FIRST LEGO League Challenge events supported by Doolittle Institute.
