The Doolittle Institute (DI) is a partnership intermediary that assists the Air Force Research Lab Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW) with achieving its technology transfer goals. This includes educating and supporting our ecosystem on the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

economically disadvantaged persons
Increase private-sector commercialization of innovations derived from Federal research and
development funding.
Foster technology transfer through cooperative R&D between small businesses and research institutions, like the Air Force Research Lab Munitions Directorate.
