Purpose 

Doolittle Institute, in coordination with the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW), will host an informative one-day event for businesses and academic institutions to learn more about collaborating and doing business with AFRL/RW.   

Objective 

AFRL/RW researchers, scientists, and engineers will share their roles to foster collaborative R&D, interact with potential solution partners, and communicate the R&D priorities of the Munitions Directorate. This event is designed to provide insights into AFRL/RW, ensure potential partners understand the problem set(s) fully, and to increase the likelihood of matching their technologies with Warfighter needs. Attendees will also hear about accessing DoD technology through licensing agreements, technologies of interest to AFRL/RW, and how to best leverage the SBIR/STTR and IRAD programs.  

Who Should Participate 

Businesses, academia, and other organizations that are new to, or have limited experience engaging with, the DoD and/or AFRL/RW. 

Why You Should Participate 

AFRL/RW seeks to enter into collaborative agreements with industry, academia, and non-traditional defense contractors. This event is an educational opportunity for attendees to learn about doing business with AFRL/RW.
