Overview:

Doolittle, in partnership with AFRL at Eglin Air Force Base, is seeking information from U.S.-based organization developing innovative solutions that support the Find, Fix, Track, Target, and Engage (F2T2EA) workflow against Group 1 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operating in cluttered, complex, and contested environments.

This Call for Interest is intended to identify relevant capabilities and better understand the current technology landscape. This Call for Interest supports government review and down‑selection for invitation to a virtual, invite‑only Tech Showcase planned for the week of 11–15 May.

Selected organizations will be invited to submit a White Paper against the existing BAA.

Technologies of Interest

  • Hardware – Physical components supporting counter-UAS operations, including modular or mobile systems
  • Software – Algorithms, autonomy, analytics, or tools that support the F2T2EA workflow
  • Sensors – Technologies for detecting, tracking, or characterizing Group 1 UAS in cluttered or contested environments
  • Effectors – modular, updatable, and capable of operating in complex and contested environments
  • Integrated systems – Solutions combining multiple counter‑UAS capabilities into a unified system supporting the full F2T2EA workflow

Candidate solutions should be modular, updatable, target‑agnostic, and effective in static and mobile scenarios.

Who Should Submit Interest:

Organizations that meet the following criteria are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest:

User‑Maintainable, Modular Solutions: Candidate technologies should be user maintainable, modular, repairable, re‑configurable, and updatable whenever feasible. Leveraging Modular Open Systems Approaches (MOSA) and Open Systems Software Architectures is desired.

U.S.-Based Organizations: Interested organizations must be U.S.-based, employ a U.S.-citizen workforce, and have no significant OCONUS interests, obligations, or foreign ownership.

Disclosure of Existing Relationships: Organizations must disclose any existing partnerships, research agreements, joint ventures, or active contractual obligations with the DoD, DHS, or other Federal Government entities.

Submission Details

Submitting an Expression of Interest enables your organization to be considered for potential inclusion in future Tech Showcase activities and will collect a brief high‑level, publicly releasable (Distro A) information describing your technology, maturity, and relevance to the Counter‑UAS Tech Showcase. Participation is not guaranteed and will depend on government review and down‑selection. Selected participants may deliver presentations at the CUI level.
